EASI Maternity Care Project
The EASI Maternity Care Project has involved a collection of maternity providers, allied health and patients passionate about making the maternity journey in Vancouver as effective and seamlessly integrated as possible. By surveying maternity patients and providers in Vancouver, there was a clear need for easy access to quality and evidence-based information (such as tip sheets, videos, webpages, etc.) that helps patients navigate their journey while not being overwhelming. A diverse set of voices & perspectives from patients and providers have helped to identify the best resources to share. We invite you to join us on the journey!
[Completed] Challenge 1
We received an overwhelming 884 recommendations of great maternity resources. Our project teams narrowed the list down to 597 and we’ve just received a lot of feedback from providers and patients on what they felt could make it onto the final online resource hub. Now we need your help to shape the new online hub itself.
[Completed] Challenge 2
We received in-depth video recordings from membership walking through the new wireframe concept and giving feedback on their experiences. The next step is the full design based on the results from the previous two challenges!
Challenge 3: Happening Now!
Thank you for your participation in Challenge 1 and Challenge 2; your feedback has brought us to where we are now, seeking feedback on the overall design of the website.
For Challenge 3, start by watching our welcome message from physician lead, Dr. Ashnoor Nagji, which includes a demonstration on how to navigate the design prototypes. You’ll then complete the Challenge Feedback Form while navigating through the prototypes, providing feedback along the way. We are also asking for feedback on the terminology we use along with how we have integrated our commitment to diversity into the design. We recommend doing the Challenge on a desktop, as you’ll be going between a few browser tabs at the same time.
Thank you for your participation, we appreciate your feedback!
